The 3 driver scores are calculated by their finishing order. Just like
golf your goal is to attain the lowest possible score.
For example, you selected Nico Rosberg, Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello. They finish 4, 3 and 9 in that order.
Your total score will be 16 for the drivers.
Constructor scoring is based on both drivers finished positions at the
end of the race. Here a consistent team is better than an inconsistent team.
Example 1: Mclaren is chosen. Lewis Hamilton finished 1st
and Jenson Button struggles and finished 16th due to a mechanical
failure. SCORE=17
Example 2: Mercedes GP is chosen. Michael Schumacher finished 3rd and Nico Rosberg
finished 4th. SCORE=7
Both driver score and team score are added up and that will be the final score for that race
which will be reflected in the standings. Example above totals 23.
IMPORTANT!
Tie Breaker will be based on the top 5 races for each participant. Lowest combined score wins.
If it is still tied, it will go to the next lowest race score and so on till the participant with the lowest score wins.
Example;
Participant 1 scores (10, 10, 12, 15, 20=67)
Participant 2 scores (9, 11, 15, 15, 17=67).
Then we would go to the next lowest race Participant 1 scored 22 and participant 2 scored 25. Therefore, participant 1 is claimed the winner.
Website issues: If you are unable to logon to the site please try to clear your ‘Internet browser’ history & cookies.
We will also accept your picks via email to catchall@f1extreme.net but must arrive prior to cutoff.
If the website is down for whatever reason (example: host issues) and more than 25% of active participants (active participants are participants
that have put in picks in 2 of the last 3 races at least) don’t get their picks in, we will void the race results in the standings.
The reason we have it at 25% is because you are able to put in your picks for the next race as early as the previous race ends.
You are also able to change your picks as often as you like till the next cutoff.
